Our youth program provides a time of fellowship,
outreach, devotions, and activities. The youth group is open to all youth
in sixth grade through twelfth grade led by Jamie and Mike Greiner.
We begin the fall session of 2009 on September 13 at 6:30 p.m.
The youth ministry program provides opportunities
for youth to develop their relationship with Christ through mission, study,
prayer, fellowship, recreation and worship.
Their cookbook project was a great success last
year!
The programs include Sunday evening United Methodist
Youth Fellowship (UMYF) September through May, and a variety of
missions, retreats and worship experiences. The Christ United Methodist
Youth regularly participate in Canton District and East Ohio Conference
United Methodist Church youth events.
Christ United Methodist youth choirs rehearse
Sundays with bells (Ringers For Christ) at 4:30 p.m. and with vocal (Asbury Choir)
at 5:15 p.m. September, 2009 through May, 2010.
A snack supper is served at 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship
Hall, prepared by families of the church. UMYF follows this at 6:30 p.m.
Youth and adults participate in the Crop Walk
for missions each October.
On occasion, our youth lead a Sunday Worship
service, as well as the early Easter Sunrise Service each year.
Christ United Methodist Church youth may participate in the annual "Youth Jam" in December and look forward to the Youth Annual Conference
in June.

Mount Union students are hired to teach the younger children
through second grade. WELCOME to RALLY DAY September 13, 2009.
Sunday School starts at 9:30 A.M. For their safety we are
asking that parents/guardians sign their children in when bringing
them to Sunday School, according to our Safe Sanctuary policy.
After Children's Time in Worship, ages 4 through 5th Grade will go
to choir rehearsals, beginning on September 13!
There are two vocal choirs for the children. They practice during the
10:45 church service
after children’s time the months of September through May.
